How long have you been making candles?

After running a successful candle business as a teenager for approximately three years, Kate took a 20 year break and returned to her passion in fall of 2020.

Who designs the labels and marketing materials?

Kate has a BFA from Savannah College of Art & Design and designs all of her candle and wax melt labels. She also designed her logo and candle care cards.

Why John 1:5?

If you've noticed we always include "1 John 1:5" on warning labels underneath all of our candles.

"This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5 NKJV.

This goes back to Kate's candle business as a kid. She included this verse in all of her candle scent cards to help tell other's about God's goodness.

When she re-launched the candle business during the pandemic she realized that the verse she knew as a child was even more relevant to her life. God helped her through the dark time of losing her photography business when the world came to a halt in March 2020.

While she understands everyone has their own beliefs, she wanted to continue to share God's message.

Where are you located?

We work out of our in-home candle studio in Loganville, Georgia. We hope that one day we can expand to a larger space with a warehouse!

How long will my package take to ship?

Accepted Answer

Your order will be processed between one to three business days after placing your order. During peak holiday seasons this could be delayed.

Do you ship across the country?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We can ship to any state. We don't ship internationally currently.

How long will my candles and wax melts last?

Accepted Answer

We test everything we create to guarantee our products are as awesome as we say they are. If you follow your candle care card included in your order, our Classic Collection candles will last between 25-30 hours. Our wax melts last between 8-10 hours per cube.

What type of wax and wicks do you use?

All candles are a premium soy blend, with coreless, cotton flat braid wicks, dye free and are hand-poured. Wax melts are also a premium soy blend and dye free. All scents used in both candles and wax melts are phthalates free.

Question 10

How can I get the most out of my candles?

Accepted Answer

Trim your wick! Before the first burn and every time after that trim your wick to 1/4". This will make your candle last so much longer. The first time you burn your candle allow the melt pool to fully reach the surface of the candle. This will create a "memory burn," and prevent tunneling (we've all had that candle...). Only burn your candle for four hours at a time. Allow a full "cool down" period of 1-2 hours before relighting.

If I provide a vessel could you fill it with a candle for me?

Unfortunately we can't re-fill jars unless you originally bought the candle from us. Why? Because can't guarantee it burning evenly or for how long. A lot of testing goes in to all of our products, and with custom pours we don't have that flexibility. We stick with what we know, and our tried and true recipes.
